Antitrust Suit Against Zillow

Is Part of an Emerging Trend

n antitrust class action lawsuit filed
Monday in Connecticut against online
Areal estate portal Zillow Inc. is part of a
wave of litigation rising across the country.
And experts expect to see more.
“This is part of an emerging trend of antitrust
lawsuits against Big Tech, meaning companies
like Amazon, Facebook and Google,” said New
Jersey attorney Robert Donaher, the state’s former
deputy attorney general who handled antitrust
litigation. “These companies have integrated
platforms that they offer to the commercial mar-
ketplace, while at the same time competing in the
markets with those customers.”
