The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit
on Tuesday granted President Donald Trump’s
request for a stay of the Manhattan district
attorney’s grand jury subpoena for his financial re-
cords.
Attorneys for Trump and Manhattan District
Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. are set to make their argu-
ments on the merits of the case Sept. 25, the circuit
panel of Judges Robert Katzmann, John M. Walker Jr.
and Raymond J. Lohier Jr. decided in a one-page or-
der issued hours after hearing arguments on the stay.
Trump’s brief will be due Sept. 11 and Vance’s will
be due Sept. 21, according to the order.
