District Court
MEMORANDA AND ORDERS
APRIL 23, 2024
BY WOLSON, J.
USA v. Baez et al; 11-0240; I laud the positive changes
that Mr. Baez has made to his life. The remainder of his term of supervised
release serves as a safety net to ensure that he stays on this commendable
course.
Williams v. Wagner et al; 23-1512; Because Mr. Williamss
version of events is contradicted by the clear video footage of Officers
Winterss and Wagners brief and reasonable use of force against him, his
excessive force claim cannot proceed, and the Officers are entitled to summary
judgment.
BY McHUGH, J.
USA v. Adams., et al; 11-0144;
For the reasons set forth above, Mr. Adams motion to withdraw his guilty plea
will be denied.
BY YOUNGE, J.
Lombardo v. Zanelli et al; 24-1383; For
the foregoing reasons, the Court will grant Lombardo leave to proceed in forma pauperis and dismiss his Complaint.
Lombardo v. Wescoe et al;
24-1385; The Court will deny Lombardos motion for the appointment of counsel
at this time without prejudice to renewal.
